The International Journal of Image and Data Fusion (IJIDF) has presented my colleagues and I the Best Paper Award 2022 for our paper “Mapping crop types in fragmented arable landscapes using AVIRIS-NG imagery and limited field data“! The Award is given once every two years from 2012, to recognize outstanding papers published in the Journal. This award is sponsored by Taylor & Francis, the publisher of the Journal. The award consists of a certificate endorsed by both the Editor-in-Chief and Taylor & Francis, along with a prize of £500.
The selection criteria is based on:
– Originality
– Creativity
– Quality and thoroughness of methods, tests and applications
– Contribution to theory, methods and/or application
– Impact of research in the image and data fusion community
